Nothing is rabbit or deer resistant except poisonous plants. One year they may leave them alone and another year they will eat them.

If you have a patch where you can plant clover, then plant some. Rabbits prefer it to anything. My son has a lot of clover growing in the area around his place and in the lawn and the rabbits never touch his flowers. If you have some they might leave your plants alone. In nature though there are no guarantees.

The more research I've done tells me that Rozanne and Jolly Bee are typically rabbit resistant. But they may munch on a young plant.

I still think its strange for this time of year...ecspecially since I have many plants that rabbits love!

Typically is the key word. I have lots of rabbits and every year they seem to eat something they had never touched in the past.

My "rozannes" have been munched on all year. Especially the younger ones.

Rabbits definitely eat the 'Rozannes' in my garden. I had planted these out in my deer resistant garden and noticed munching. Thinking it was the deer, I moved the plants inside the fence. Well -- it was the rabbits!

The rabbits ate the geraniums down to the ground and I lost quite a few. I used I MUST GARDEN Rabbit Repellent (I have no affiliation with the product) to keep them away. A red-tailed hawk took care of my rabbit problem, so I had blooms all summer.

It is in the late fall, winter, and spring that rabbits cause the most damage in my garden.

I still won't say for sure that the fawns didn't take some bites out of the plants, but I had blooms out there for a long time last year. There are 8 deer out in my garden right now, so I have rather good test subjects.

The only geraniums that are deer resistant are the ones with strongly scented leaves--g. maccrorhizum and the hybrids like G. 'Biokovo', 'Karmina', etc.
