thanks Lanie. these are the colors that I was thinking about for the trim and doors, this will also include the garage doors. As you can see all the trim is stained dark. I really dont like how there is no color.

How about covering these 6 posts with some stack stone similar the color of the flag stone you already got there.

Your porch can be fantastic. I would see that whole porch window wall painted a shade lighter than it is now then you could easily accent your door in a color you want. The baluster needs to be beefed up with more balusters; they are spaced too far apart. That can all stay your brown color as your lighter colored wall would then accent all your trim even more. I Linked this door color in a soft red which could work for you. Good luck

I'm not much fond of the stonework. Set a low dense hedge directly in front of it.
Could do without them silly plastic garden lights too.
Paint the garage doors a dark green.

Stack stone would make a better foundation than what you have now. Like trisn's idea of the green garage doors - might do the front door in a shade of it found a bit farther up the color strip along with the swing. The lightest color on the same strip might brighten the area if you painted the ceiling with it. You do need more spindles - looks a little spindly! Sorry!

The porch trim on this house is very much like yours. What it you paint it white and build new stairs?

Christine, the sagey green in the bottom left of the color swatch you posted would achieve what I was imagining with greyish blue. Blue stood out to me because that's what I see in the stone on my screen. But don't match the stone; take a cue from it and then go bolder. I like the inspiration photo red door Charmean shared too - muted red, not deep or bright.
