I assume you're referring to Asiatic lilies, and if so, about the only thing that can kill them in our area is very poor drainage/constant excessive moisture. No, not a good choice as marginals.

To bad because they are so pretty. I had read a note on this forum I think that said a lot of things that said well draining did well in bogs so I just wanted to check.

....but "well draining did well in bogs" are opposing statements. Perhaps a misread.

Many daylilies do well in bogs, but not all. Asiatic lilies which grow from a bulb will have the bulb rot in too much moisture.

I think it was in the what is your favorite or most unusual bog plant post. Someone said they where suprised how many plants that said they needed drainage on the tags did great in bog gardens. I think they where talking about non-submerged conditions though.

I will have to see if any of the daylilies will be OK in my climate.
