Pretty in pink

12 years ago

I have been absent from this Forum for a long (too long) time - hello again everyone.

Arrojadoa rhodantha at various stages of flowering and fruiting:

{{gwi:470241}}{{gwi:470242}}
{{gwi:470243}}{{gwi:470244}}
{{gwi:470246}}{{gwi:470248}}

For the past forty years or so I have used mineral rich, gritty, soil-less mixes - ones that are very open and porous - for my container grown cacti in order to insure superior drainage and root aeration. One of my favorites is a mix of 70% (screened) pumice and 30% pine bark.

Edit - sorry, zone 9
