Another Jade plant problem..

In the fall I had set my Jade plant in the kitchen window where it would get a little more light than where it was, I'm looking at it today and it has mold or a white powdery substance inbetween the leaves, how can this be removed? Will I have to prune this substance away, wash it away, or what...I have taken it out of window area and watered it somewhat, as it has not been watered in over a month, now what???

The "white powdery" substance can't really be diagnosed without a picture. You could just have a mineral build up or you could have mealy bugs. Take a toothpick and "poke" at it and see if anything really small moves around. If you see movement then you could have mealy bugs. Do a Google search for "mealy bugs" and you should find some images to help you ID them and some sites with really good info on how to get rid of them.
