    An even fifty five

I'm going with 57. I tried counting and it made my eye's crossed. I will say your showing off since I can hardly keep one alive! LOL. Pretty awesome!

I have to ask...are we going by sets of leaves, because I'm not sure if 2 sets of leaves (one "butt", hee hee) is considered one plant??

@rosemariero Hehehe. Yes, I think it's easier if we count one "butt" (set of leaves) as one plant. Do I see a little competitiveness coming out in you? ;-)

Okay... let's call it "competitiveness" (hee hee). That works for me! I need guidelines, so you don't hear "but, but" from me (not butt, butt).

[I am getting sucked into this as an avoidance tactic not to work on our budget! When we were kids, my Mom had a subscription to a magazine(?) called Highlights for Children, or some such. One part was to find the hidden objects in the drawing & another to find what was different in the pix. This reminds me of that. Mama knew how to keep 9 kids busy!]

Can I guess twice? Ha ha!

@John Oh, I have nothing to brag about! Really! I have only had these for a bit over a year. Dumb luck that they are still alive.

@Rosemarie I loved those Highlights magazines too. I remember them in doctors offices and liked the same parts as you. Nine kids??? Yikes. Hats off to your mom!
Can you guess twice? But of course, go for it!!!

    The winner is.....

    Microthrix!!!

    53

You nailed it right out of the gate. :-) Bravo!!!!!

Congrats, Zeck! I was going to come back with a 2nd guess of 56 or 57, but got sidetracked & forgot! Very tricky, Regina, the way you worded the high & low numbers! :P

Hey, looked online & found examples of Highlights mag. Will post one once back to my laptop!

    Okay, I'm back!

And an example of one of those "find things in the pic" deals I was telling you about. Kept me & my siblings busy for hours!! Smart Mama!

    Looking great, Reggie!!

A trip down memory lane... My grandfather used to send the same magazines about fifteen-twenty years ago when my siblings and I were children. Finding the hidden pictures and the crafts... I loved them! A great magazine. Thanks for the nostalgia, Rosemarie! :)

Nice, Ro. I used to get those in the mail.

On the Lithops challenge, I'm afraid I must disagree:(

I refuse to count one plant as 2 plants. I revise my answer to 46. Sorry, Z. I think your sister was closer... BURN!!!

Just kidding, BTW. "Burn" is a "That 70's Show" reference, if you didn't know... and it might be 48.
