Anyone in the Raleigh area know the name of the place where you can get the concrete core samples for free? The person that used to live in my current house used them as flower bed edging and I want more of them. They are the round "pegs" of concrete where they take core samples from roads or highways while they are being built to determine if the mix was strong enough. Rumor has it that there is a place (north side?) where you can just drive up and take as many as you need. I can find many core sampling businesses in Raleigh but none say anything about giving these things away or selling them.
