Oregon trip

Was finally able to get to Oregon and see the beautiful coast, amazing crater lake and Oregon Gardens.The trip ended with seeing Conifer Kingdom and getting to meet Sam in person. Extremely knowledgeable and kind.His true love of conifers readily apparent.The following are some pics.

Wow, that brings back the giddy 'kid in a candy shop' feeling last time I visited a specialist seller.

What did you buy? Were thay planned purchases, by select species or just whatever jumped out? Always too many to take home.

Did you fly out and then rent a car?

I will be going down to see the Oregon Garden this Fall for the first time. I'm also going to Conifer Kingdom and, hopefully, see Sam again. We first met at Bob Fincham's for a local get together.
I can't wait.

I loved it! I flew in and rented a car.Conifer Kingdom was like a kid in a candy shop.I posted some other pics of what I bought under another post in gallery.What a nice offer as well to visit your garden..I can see making this trip once a year easily.It was amazing..If you stay at the Oregon Gardens look for the Hidden City and the Secret Garden.It is sort of a fun hunt.
