first I want to thank the gardener who brought a tiny shoot of bronze fennel to the spring charlotte plant swap.I took 1 and it became quite large! I did not notice many butterflies on but some must have liked it because I was just weeding the herb garden and noticed about a dozen cats on it! Will these babies have time to prosper before winter comes? I have a large pop up umbrella type green house that I can cover the herb garden with, Should I? cats range from 1"-1.5"
