Jeff,
Re-glueing the pot or the paw? Lol.
Sharon

Sharon,

On second thought, I'll have to be really bored to reconstruct the pot.

On the successfully-drilled one there, it's from a country which doesn't exist anymore (W. Germany) and I got it for a dollar (bargained from $2.50), and the drilling went almost like a hot knife into butter. I remember the dog flashing by me as she chased a 2 y/o buck from the yard and then the sudden sensation of sliced fingers - I took my eye off of the yellow pot and that's all it took to reduce it to shards.

Always remember to wear your safety gear. As a pot driller myself, I feel for you. Well we all need shards. At least that is what I tell myself. I love drilling through red clay. Ironstone can eat one's bits fast. Have a great day, Paula

Paula,

I'm usually wearing eye glasses, but you're right - I should be wearing safety glasses. I'd also feel pretty dumb if I was a 24/7 pirate, C?

Joined with you in doing the shards on the ground thing (it's great fun to chuck cracked pots onto the Plain of Broken Jars), and sooner or later I'm going to make a mosaic with them.
