OK, fingers, toes legs crossed - heck, even my sphincter is crossed for you......have you buried St. Joseph, facing in, upside down??? It's like chicken soup - it couldn't hurt!!!

Nancy.

Yes, I did bury St. Joseph. What took him so long?

This lady has lived in the same house for 45 years in CA. Boy am I glad I don't have to pack for that move.
My house is 740 sq ft larger than her current home. She feels like she is moving into a palace. Being older like I am, she doesn't feel an 11 years old house is "dated" nor does she feel the need for granite or stainless appliances.

Also, this is a cash deal, so I am not worried about the financing fall apart just before closing. Which is happening a lot.

Sounds like a perfect buyer!

Congratulations! I know you are SO relieved. Party on -- to a gardener, would that be buying a new plant?

Cameron

Congrats Cousin Kathy ~ I know what a relief this is for you. She sounds like she will love your old place. Once this is finalized you can really relax in your new place, filling up your gardens, back and front. : -)

FlowerLady

Fingers and toes crossed, hope all goes well this tine.

Crossing everything possible for your sale to go through smoothly, Martha

That is good to hear, Kathy! Everything is crossed here, too. Becky

Sounds like you've found a buyer who will appreciate what you've done.

Cheers, Ana

And from NYC XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Sending a hug and a HOORAY!!!
Sounds like this will be a happy ending for buyer and seller.
Good luck!
Patti

Thanks for all the crossed "things" and good wishes. This sure has made for a long weekend.

I had to be there when they turned the water back on. It was a tad difficult to walk out the last time.

I think St. Joseph was just waiting for the right buyer for you!! It was winter when I moved, and I never did get him dug back up....uh-oh. On the other hand, my last day in the old house was so hard, as I just wanted to be gone!!

Cheers, Kathy - everything's crossed here too.

I am so glad for you, Kathy! It seems these days that the only people buying in the midwest are people who have sold in Ca. and have all that money to buy our way less expensive properties.
