What is the best sealer for travertine floors in the kitchen? I have heard Bulletproof from Dupont Stonetech is a good penetrating sealer. Even with this sealer, the floor can be etched if something is spilled on it....even if wiped up immediately. I was told that a topical could be used that is not penetrating. I am not sure what brand of topicals are the best and if this is even a wise choice for travertine.

Can anyone tell me what is the best thing to do with my new floor? I want to protect it from spills and pets so it will look good a long time.

I am also considering using the Bulletproof on my new granite. Bulletproof has a 15 year warranty if applied by a certified installer.
