first fireflies sighted

It seems awfully early in Athens so we couldn't believe it but there's fireflies out there! Anyone else see them?

I saw them last night too. In Buford/Sugarhill area. I also saw a butterfly yesterday for the first time. Finally spring!

saw the first hummingbird yesterday and put out my feeders.

I'm in Athens, too. I haven't seen any fireflies yet, but I'll have to start keeping an eye out.

You know what I did see? Well, really, I heard them more than I saw them... crickets! The loudest crickets I have ever heard in my life. I was trying to talk to Mr. Beep outside tonight and we couldn't hear ourselves think. I finally turned around and yelled "would you please HUSH UP!!!!" at them, and would you believe they actually did? You could have heard a pin drop.
