I have the dwarf Cherry Dazzle from the Razzle Dazzle series. I bought mine at a nursery that is now out of business. I have since seen them at the big box stores on occasion. They are late getting green and bloom in June/July but they are gorgeous! The drought didn't seem to affect them in the least. I planted the lavender too close and will have to move it this year. Here's a pic of one side of the entrance to the yard from the pool area.

They are ones in the foreground. The ones in the back are knock-out roses (another easy one)

I am not sure if they had drawfs, but Eastside Ornamentals, just out on 78W, has a lot of Crape Myrtles.

I got my Razzle Dazzles at Home Depot.

The Razzle Dazzle will exceed 2'. I have and love them.

My neighbor's dwarf crape is at least 4'. Don't think they will look great if pruned on the sides to contain them.

According to the wholesale nursery (McCorkle's, Deering,GA)The Razzle Dazzle® series should be available in the Atlanta area at, Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware Garden Centers, plus Habersham, Hastings and Ashe-Simpson Garden Centers.

I've grown 'Pokomoke' for a number of years. Grows to 3-3 1/2 feet tall. Still have a few in the nursery.
