Are they kinda small and a brownish tan look to them ??? Dont worry about them they eat at my house twice a day.

Neighbors reported seeing a doe & fawn near the creek that flows through our area. Residents that have lived here for 50 or more years said that they were the first deer ever spotted in this locale.
As long as greedy developers clear cut every foot² of available land, rubber-stamped by the imbeciles (make that idiots) in the planning departments, completely ignoring previously enacted tree ordinances, the cover for these shy creatures in the ever expanding metro area is rapidly disappearing. Do not be surprised to find them grazing in your garden and along the busy Interstate highways. Their territory is being invaded and normal food supply destroyed.
Sorry to diverge, but the soapbox was complaining about being ignored.

Deer in East Atlanta? Wow, I thought we were living on the edge being overrun with rabbits. I've been in Grant Park for about nine years, and this is the first I've heard of deer around here. But after the bear in Ormewood a couple of years ago, I shouldn't be surprised by anything.

I live an Roswell, and few months back the deer ran thru our backyard. I would have been just as surprised if I saw a unicorn or an angel. And would not believe it if I did not see it with my own eyes. Actually, I could not believe it when I saw it first. My mind was going 100 miles per hour: it can't be! It is a large dog, etc. Deer in our neighborhood? Impossible! Well, it was. He made deep hoove's prints in my newly made flower beds and had a very nice breakfast helping himself freely. I have not seen him since. He probably found greener pastures someplace else.
