Need some advice about my Plumbago

I planted some plumbago last spring. It did really well last summer. I had never seen this plant and I loved it. The plants still have not greened up nor have I seen any green at the base of the plant. Is it too early for these to be greening,or did the dry fall and cold winter kill them?

If what you planted is _Plumbago auriculata_, it is not cold hardy in USDA Plant Zones lower than Zone 9. It may be marginally hardy if heavily mulched in Zone 8b. Plumbago, or Cape Leadwort, needs to be treated as a tender, frost-sensitive plant in regions with significant frosts and freezes. You can probably find replacement plants at the big box retailers this spring, and plumbago can be ordered from Logee's Tropical Plants in Danielson, CT.

heheheheh... the plant that is not hardy in zones north of 9 can be ordered from CONNECTICUT?!? ROFL!

I have the groundcover version of Plumbago ( I think it is called Dwarf Plumbago Ceratostigma) It comes back every year but is late. I at one time had the bush version (auriculata) it came back several years in a row. I shovel pruned it because it wasn't in a good location.
