Most of my damaged plants are almost back to where they were pre-frost. One question though, my gladiolus came up about a month ago, but they haven't bloomed yet. Is this from the frost? If so, will they bloom next year?

I am thrilled to see my climbing roses starting to bloom. They are full of buds. I was sure I would miss the spring flush on those since the frost killed the first batch of buds, but now they look even better than last year.

I too am pleasantly surprised at the roses as well as a few Bearded Iris. The frost caused all of the first stalks & blooms to fail even though they hadn't really appeared yet at the time. But I did get one good healthy stalk bloom beautifully on each of my 3 favorite varieties.

My 3 oak leave hydrangeas were hit hard by the frost. The leaves are green, but wilted looking. However, they are in bloom. ....a nice surprise.
