I don't have any experience trying it, but I've read you can replant them now (what else would they be doing?) or store them in a cool, dry place until the fall. They need good air circulation to avoid rotting.

Don't leave them in the garage, a basement would be better.

Plant the daffodils now, so they don't rot. Tulips must be refrigerated for about eight weeks before planting, in order to bloom. We don't get enough cold in the Atlanta- area winter time for them to bloom reliably.
