Help me choose a floor stain color!We are getting our hardwood floors refinished this weekend. We cant decide between the early american stain or the simple walnut. Our house is not huge so I dont want to go too dark, but I tend to like darker colors. We have and open concept living room and kitchen with maple cabinets. The kitchen currently has pergo but we will be replacing that with tile. Also, we will be changing the color of the kitchen island from black to the color of the cabinets. I have attached some pictures- let me know what you guys think of the stain colors! We will be refinishing the floors in the living room, steps, upstairs hallway and all three bedrooms. In the picture with the stains side by side the left is simple walnut and the right is early american.
