Okay... I am going to do a little rant here. You don't give any information on zone or anything, you didn't google, so I am assuming you want us to do all the work. I googled ONCE and found a bunch of info. I don't usually gripe, but you've been on this forum for a few years, long enough to understand how it works.

Lily: Perhaps your plant may have misnamed on the original container because I think know the plant your talking about; I may actually have it in my yard. I looked through my data base and couldn't find the plant that's in my garden. Sorry. If I get a chance later I'll go out and look to see if the tags are still dangling at the base.

I address this to (Heathen)1. I did register in 2006 but never did use gardenweb in all that time since only weeks ago. The site you directed me to was WRONG ...as was your rude attack of me. I turned to this forum as I'd exhausted my search and knew that gardenweb people in general are helpful, generous & KIND and that I'd surely find knowledge within it's outreaches. Plants & People respond better to Kindness.

Do you have a picture of the bush? Even a picture of winter twigs can often aid identification.

Fata....I found the plant I was seaching for. It's called agrimony...or church steeples. It grows to about 2-3 ft tall and has long wand like branches that have yellow flowers along the branches. It's in the herb family and was used for many purposes in early medicine. Thank you for your response....Lilygrace

Thanks for the response. I've never heard that name for it. I found small-flowered agrimony (Agrimonia parviflora) growing nearby this past summer. It was one I had to look-up and figure out myself. I included a link below of what small-flowered agrimony looks like.
