In a garden section at the local supermarket, I found some small pots of "Trailing violet oregano". The plastic label said that it would trail and there was a picture of violet flowers. Since oregano does so well (probably too well) for me, I bought a few pots. I can't find much information. It looks like it may remain a groundcover and hug the ground (and that's what I'd like) -- my regular oregano grows to about a foot tall.

A few years ago, I got a ground-hugging oregano and I love it. It grows incredibly slowly though.

Has anybody tried this trailing violet oregano?

thanks

Susan
