When to begin pruning Kaffir Lime Tree

Hello, I have a grafted kaffir lime tree that is just over a foot tall. I am wondering at what point I should begin pruning to ensure that it becomes bushy. Should I allow it to continue to grow first before I start cutting it? Also, any advice or links that picture exactly how to prune it would be great. Thank you. Here is a picture.

Not much of this guy to cut off. I would read up on citrus care to encourage more growth before cutting anything.

my lime tree does not grow any leaves after i removed all leaves after mildew and the plant is woody

Ali, a citrus is an evergreen plant and no leaves on an evergreen generally signals it is dead. Without foliage, it cannot photosynthesize and will die.

How long has it been without leaves? and have you gently scraped the bark to see if the cambium (bark lining) is still green?
