garlic spray for whiteflies on mint???????

Hi,

I have mint growing in a small container..When i disturb the pot i see a number of white insects flying off .I spot these tiny insets on the leaves too.I am glad to have learnt about" garlic spray " from one of the members on this forum ...i think it was daisy . So can i spray the same for the whiteflies or i do have a product which has"hydrophobic extract of neem" .Which one do you guys recommend? Please advice.

Hi

I have searched this forum for info on whiteflies on mint...but could not find any conclusive solution.So i am relying on your experience for this.Any advice is appreciated.

noram_fl - Did it work? I think I have a whitefly infestation on my indoor mint. I wondered if the garlic spray worked.

Hi Norma. I have not tried garlic spray yet but in the past I have gotten rid of whiteflies with simple organic soap solution or neem oil diluted in a soap solution. I imagine the garlic spray would work really well as it has some organic soap in it.
