Got these on my basil. I've seen them a few times, just hanging out on leaves. I don't notice any leaf damage where they are or where they have been, so I generally leave them be. They are not terribly mobile, seeming to prefer sitting on a leaf very still for long periods of time. I took one off to reposition it for a picture and noticed that it seems to stick to the leaf with a sticky yellow fluid coming out of its bottom. Very interesting. They are about a quarter inch long (or slightly less than 1cm).

Can anyone ID this fellow?
