Beginner growing some dill

I posted yesterday regarding some advice on basil - thanks for all the feedback with regard to that. It helped.

Now another question: I also have a dill plant.

I don't know too much about dill. I actually brought it back from the dead (a friend was growing it and almost about killed it, and then I volunteered to take it from her and revived it. I've had it now for almost 2 months). So far I've been watering it most every day, and it seems to be happy. It's receiving quite a lot of Texas sun.

It's currently in a 6" pot. It's getting fairly tall (a couple feet probably), but not too bushy at all, just tall. Does dill get bushy? Is a 6" put good for dill, or should I put it in something bigger? How much space does it need? Thanks for any advice!
