Do deer eat Ti plants?

I had 2 nicely growning Hawaiian Ti plants yesterday, and today. Poof, all the tops are gone...just gone, like a deer might have come eaten them? Do deer eat them? We have many deer where I live. They have never touched them in the 2 yrs I lived here. Just wondering.

Deer smoke ti sticks... they get the munchies and come eat your ti tops

Deer will eat pretty much anything when hunger enough.

Same thing happened to my Ti plants just yesterday after planted about 2 weeks. I didn't think deer would be a problem!

Lantana are supposed to be deer resistant but they sure ate all of mine down to the ground. I imagine Ti Leaf would be a delicious treat for them.
