You could try rooting them in water if you're using soft stems. I'd only try rooting them in soil with a firmer/older stem; then you need to make a tent for the plant with a plastic bag loosely tented over the top of the plant/soil/pot. Also, the soil will need to be warm, but since you say you're doing this indoors that probably isn't a problem.

Better still, forget cuttings, and plant some roots and runners instead.
