The Troy Farmers Market on Saturdays is a great experience , its at riverside in the historic area and lots of plants for sale . The Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners have a demonstration garden at the Robert C Parker School in North Greenbush which is a great place to see different gardens relax in the gazebo and its free and open from dawn til dark.

Oakwood Cemetary Troy is a another historic stop and a wonderful place to walk , picnic and see unique trees and plants and a view of the Hudson River , Cohoes Falls and surrounding countryside .
