There is a place near upper Pleasant Valley, possibly near Pine Plains, that sells used barrels that have been recycled for a reasonable price like $10 - $15 each.

Why not use sturdy black plastic garbage pails?? They have lids and cost about $5.00 to $15.00 depending on the thickness of the plastic.. You could check Walmart. I use them for my horse feed. It works for me and cheeper than what they sell in the feed store.
