Best dehydrator?

I bought a Nesco F60 like 10 years ago from Walmart. Great machine, but the trays are now broken & unusable. Bought it originally for $40. It was awesome...dried ground meat jerky in 8 hrs. Didn't even research it...got lucky. Researched getting new trays & they will cost more than the original machine with shipping. lol

Fast forward...went to Target...bought the lovely Ronco dehydrator "as advertised on TV!!!". Figured it would be as good as it was around $40...maybe even more advanced!

It's crap. Absolute crap. It only has a bottom heating element that everything drips on. Took it 4 DAYS to dry tomato slices. Can't imagine drying jerky in the thing - meat just waiting to become jerky that takes days? Not gonna eat that stuff. Can't wait to pack it up & take it back.

So...I've read about the Excalibur dehydrators...but they're more than I really want to spend right now, so I'm back to Nesco. Any experiences between the F60 (500 watt) and the F75 (700w)? Any other dehydrators that are less than $100 that are efficient? I'm looking to dry extra tomatoes/herbs/zucchini and jerky. I only need extra tray space when doing the jerky thing. Thanks :)
