Stupid me, I canned 7 quarts of potatoes yesterday. Just now re-read the recipe before putting it away and noticed I was supposed to use clean water w/ the potatoes after they were cooked. I didn't. I used the water I cooked them in. I notice they are quite thick, but will this hamper them in any way? I really hope not, since this was out first crop of potatoes and 6 were rotten before I got to them (in the basement, not in the garden.)
