I love a light in the front window of a home. So I would place the two chairs in the window with the light in the middle.

Then I would turn the rug the other direction and keep the sofa where it is with the coffee table in front of the sofa. But I would spray paint the metal to blend more like beige or gold. Place a beautiful flower or plant arrangement on top. If your pillows are old go to Ross and get something that YOU like with down stuffing so you can fluff in the dryer on air only.

I think the room is beautiful the way it is.

This is a pretty room. To freshen it a bit, I might replace the mirrors with a large piece of interesting, colorful artwork. Then I would pull out some colors from the art by adding pillows and other accessories in my accent colors of choice. Finally, I would add 2 end tables (they don't need to match) on the ends of the couch and place large lamps on the tables.

I like the idea of the chairs in the window with a table and lamp in between. Then I would put a sofa table or console under the mirrors with lamps on either end. Also like the idea of the chaise.

Your room is beautiful! If you like the layout and seating, but just want it to feel finished, all you need to do is add an end table at the other end of the sofa. Your room is very symmetrical. Without a table with a lamp at each end of the sofa, the symmetry is off and makes the room feel unfinished. The tables and lamps don't have to match but they should be similar in size.
