Donna I have seen an increase in the hummingbirds at both my feeders and flowers the past several weeks. I know as we get into the month of July I will be seeing even more. I do hate to acknowledge that this is the beginning of their southward migration.

I am certainly seeing more activity during June it seems like more than last year. But august is the biggest migration month for my area by far. Each year I seem to get a few more. Ive always wondered if and when hummers find a feeding oasis that some of them make it back to that same place or is it always a different batch.

I think they come back to that same oasis Steve. I am so pleased with the number I am having now. I don't try to count. But I am seeing them at the feeders and flowers from morning until dusk. Very happy with my population of hummingbirds. I know they will really increase toward the end of July. They will dwindle down in October.
