Im not sure what kind of feeders you are referring to but sometimes a hummer will get sloppy and drip nectar and it could dry on the feeder and that could be the reason it is attracted there or sometimes they will hang just to get moisture if there is any on the outside of feeder or bottle. Wasps are not getting anything but maybe moisture from my large feeders but it still runs hummers away but they always come back.

Right now on my PP feeder every port is covered in at least two yellow jackets. I tested the feeder to make sure it doesn't leak and it doesn't so it has to be from the moisture.

My neighbor recently found two nests and destroyed them but what do I do with all these wasps?

I won't hang out my bee hive catcher thing since I still have lots of honey bees.....I don't want them to get caught. We need all these little guys we can get.

Any solutions? I thought maybe if I put a little Mountain Dew in between the feeders that may be a bit more appetizing to the wasps?

I dont know what type of PP feeder you are referring to hopefully not the one port feeders for that is useless. But as an example on pp209 I clean with soap and water and a port brush since you say they are directly at a port they are getting something. When wasps go to any of my feeders they are looking for wetness and I do my best to see they dont find it, usually if they dont they eventually leave. I good clue is if they are not staying in one spot and going all over the feeder they are not finding anything, that is what you are working for.

Mine is the PP 203. When I first put it out the bees aren't a problem but once the birds start eating out of it I think they maybe dribble or something cause then the wasps stay.

Right now my Hummzinger Ultra is covered in wasps. They are trying to get into the feeding holes and I think a few are dead in the moat.

I had never read of anyone having a problem with bees/wasps on a Hummzinger before.
