We are remodeling our family room and need some suggestions for picking a paint color to coordinate with medium to dark oak trim and a brick wall. We have exposed wood beams on the ceiling and the furniture is cream. Haven't picked new carpet yet so we will choose carpet based on wall color. FYI, the room doesn't have great natural light. Our Kitchen/dining room is a buttery yellow and the living room is a olive green with a chocolate brown accent wall. We were thinking of blue for the family room but not sure what shade. We also like the idea of an apple green but not sure that isn't too bright for a family room.
