You have a lot of choice. Glass Mosiac, or travertine stacked maybe?

your options are wide open...i love the glass tile. either mosiac or slats...look for something that brings in another color thats not already in your kitchen..maybe a pretty green, and then bring it in on the walls and window treatments to pull it all together..
good luck

Yes, you have a lot of choices. Here are some ideas! In the 3rd picture I think this is a great example of something simple and elegant. I would suggest that you find a picture of a style you like, take it to a tile store and then pick some different color samples and bring them home to compare with your colors in the cabinets and the granite. I would stick with something simple, neutral, and not too busy.

What about subway tiles in a travertine (taupe) color?

I’m going to be frank…. PICTURE TILES …. Try something more updated like a mosaic design, you can frame it out with a travertine boarder and glass for edging. You can use a split face mosaic field tile to tie it in or a 3 x 6 travertine subway tile.

Here are some examples of what you could use in your kitchen. You could add another color, like the dark green, or try a subtle mosaic blend. It really depends on what look you are trying to achieve and how much attention you want the backsplash to attract. Glass tile is easy to clean, so these are all good options.

If you're not sure about color or blends of different tiles, you can feel free to contact one of our designers and they would be glad to help you match something to your countertops and your tastes!

Anyone else with suggestions or pics??

Depends on taste... If you like to keep things simple go with the same material/color way as your flooring OR go for a tiles of any material in the same basic color as the countertop. If you're into funky unique things, go for dutch or mexican print tiles. If you like mixing colors and contrast doesn't bother you, you can go for monotone blue glass or mosaic or monotone olive green glass or mosaic. You could use the same colors in your window treatments in the dining room for a funky look. My favorite choice would be a multicolor (but MUTED - not high contrasts between individual tiles) shimmery glass that included the "spice" hues from your cabinet along with the golder hues of your countertops.. tying them both together. ... just some pictures.. can't wait to see what you choose.

My favorite would be the bottom right Above
