Iris Disease Indentification Question

I have been growing irises successfully for three years. This year I have ugly leaves on a lot of my irises which I cannot identify using FAQ's on this site or by looking for pictures on a search engine. They all bloomed successfully and don't appear to be in decline, but the leaves look awful. They have pale, yellowish-brown spots about 1/8 inch in diameter, and the leaf turns brown from the top down. Part of this I know is normal leaf die-back from age, but I'm afraid the little spots may be a sign of a bad problem. Can anyone tell me what the spots represent, or if there's a picture gallery somewhere which will help me identify them?
