Where did you put all of your cords since this is a stone fireplace?

      I would like to know the answer to these questions too! We are building and this is what I had in mind for the tv and fireplace, but I'm concerned that the rising heat will harm the tv. Any answers?

      is this wood burning? Can a tv be placed over a woodburning fireplace?

      Yes, a tv can be placed over a wood burning fireplace. The wires are usually hidden behind trim work. My guess is the wires go up, behind the crown molding, and brought into the drywall once past the fireplace masonry.
