My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Yes, it is Edgecomb Grey. You will be surprised how intense/deep the colour gets once placed on the walls. Also, notice that my client's room has north exposure. Therefore, not much natural light. If you have lots of natural light in your room, you can always add to the formula. Any BM store can customize the paint for you at no extra cost. Try to add 50% to begin with. However, I suggest that you buy a small sample pot first and put a large patch on the wall. It might be just enough the original formula.

      Hi Amy, the colour is from Benjamim Moore, HC 173. It is a beautiful beige/taupe colour.

      Thank you! So is it called Edgecomb Grey? That's really surprising - it seems so much warmer than the sample in the fan deck.

      Thank you again! I'm choosing paint colors for a house that is being built and I'm learning so much from Houzz about recognizing paint colors in photos. It seems that most of the time, the color in the photo is considerably lighter than the paint chip. But I see that it depends completely on the amount of light in the room. Our main living areas will face mostly East and Northeast so not a ton of light. It is a challenge to choose when it's not built yet!

      Definitely.....you will only be able to make your final decision once the house is finished. However, it s good to plan ahead and build up a library of options. I have used HC173 many times and my clients love the colour. It is just warm enough without being overwhelming.

      Hi Marisa, sorry for the late reply. I was out of the country. Trims were painted in Cloud White from Benjamim Moore.

      Why did you decide to place the two chairs in front of the fireplace? I'm struggling with the placement of similar chairs in front of the fireplace in my dining area.
