Hi

I'd like to get rid of my deck (tired of trying to keep up with it) and replace it with a courtyard-type-patio. Still haven't thought of materials (don't have an idea about prices)but would love to talk/hire a designer? to put it all together. Does anyone know or has worked with someone that does this type of work locally? What is the best way to go about hiring someone like this? I know word of mouth is usually a foolproof way and hope you guys can help. I live in the Seattle area. Thanks a lot.
