Same here, Dotty. Woke up to thundering hail on the roof and the ground is all white again. "Christmas Cheer" rhodo is looking pathetic, would have done better coming out in December! tulips not so good except the one that haven't come out yet are okay. Down at Thrifty Foods yesterday they were throwing out flat after flat of dead tomato plants. Oh well, a good day to get the housework done.:)

Bitterly cold here but only saw a few flakes of snow drifting down early this morning. A humongous saucer Magnolia in full bloom down the road from us lost a couple of limbs in that weird snowfall we had.

Was very cold and snowing at 5:30 a.m. when I went swimming this morning. Snow didn't stick to the ground. Which was nice,as I don't like too drive when it is snowing.

I feel your torment as here in Happy Camp ,Ca. the northern tip on the Oregon border. My roses have started budding twice now only to have the buds freeze. we had snow for the past 2 days. Bought some tomato plants and broccoli and cauliflower but am afraid to put out. Any suggestions on how long they will last in there pots. The tomatoes are 1gal and the others a 6 pack.
