i like it! i would trim up that japanese maple just a lil bit. just a bit bulky right near that overhang.

Thanks, I work on that tree every year and still can't seem to get the light airy shape that they have at the Japanese and Chinese gardens.

I don't think that's gaudy at all :-) Really gaudy is the hot pink house with royal purple trim that was in my old neighborhood! BorS, yours is colorful yet relatively soothing - the green is well-suited to compliment a huge range of garden plants (like that maple) and the lilac colored door a nice accent color. I can see why you chose those petunias :-)

I'd lower that hanging basket on a chain so the EMT's/ fire dept can see your house numbers---

I'm going to have DH move the house numbers lower, why he put them up so high after the new siding went on, I have no idea. I'm also going to paint them copper.

The orange trim is actually tan but photographed orange.

I can't remember where I got the dragonfly welcome, I've had it for close to ten years. It has lost pieces over the years but I still like it.
