Nice one Ian! I love this one too! Mine had so many flowers this year it was almost gaudy! I tried to photograph the whole thing and it was too much yellow!

I really like the Melaleuca sqarrosa. How long have you had it, and does the bark peel at all? Thanks.

I think I planted it in 2002. That was my second try with it, they need a couple years to really get hardy enough to live through winter. Yes the bark peels but it is not as impressive as M. linearifolia which I also have nearby.

Good thing we have forests and fields to contain a lot of the world's plants, because our gardens just aren't big enough for a lot of these plants that we would like to have.
