I planted some giant allium for the first time last Fall. They came up early this Spring and I really like them. I hope they will return bigger and better every year. My problem is that the lower half is pretty boring/ugly and so I need something that I can plant that is evergreen but won't choke out the bulbs. I am wide open to suggestions. I have considered euphorbias and heucheras. Does anyone know if they would play well with the alliums? Any other suggestions? thanks! Julie
