The E. intermedia pictured below is now about 25 feet tall and 10 feet wide after 15 years; it attracted hundreds of bees on about 10,000 blossoms.

Like the Bremerton tree, it is somewhat late this year.

The blossoms do have a 'honey scent' although they remind me more of the wild morning glory blossom scent.

A E. lucida 'pink cloud' had only a dozen blooms and my two E. lucida x milliganii have not bloomed yet although they are several feet tall.
