Cheap source for fall-planted strawberries?

18 years ago

I want to plant my new garden with strawberries in the fall. Preferably, this would be late October/early November before the ground is sopping wet. Problem is bundles of bare root plants are not available until the spring and to buy a single strawberry plant is prohibitively expensive.

In particular, I'm looking for seascape strawberries. Does anyone know of any sources for these?
