Some interesting broad-leaved evergreen shrubs at Sky (185th & Aurora) these days.

If less usual kinds appeal maybe take the ferry out to Colvos Creek nursery, on Maury Island (next to Vashon). See colvoscreeknursery.com. If you are an enthusiast and have not been before this place should get you jazzed.

Monroe is not far and from the site it looks like they have some good sized plants. I like that they have a stock database, last updated Nov. 2 (but better than nothing). If it's not raining I'll go soon. They close Nov. 18 so I'd better get on it. :)

I really like Woods Creek, definitely not your typical fancy, schmancy joint but a real broad selection. I bought a 'Trompenburg' maple and a 'Briotti' red horsechestnut from her last year.

For more standard fare but big selection very close to Everett, Smokey Point Plant Farm on the freeway at Marysville has a great evergreen selection.
Of course Plant World in Maltby/Clearview always has a massive selection of everything.
Colvos sounds fun, I'm gonna have to check them out.

I did go to the Wood's Creek nursery today, boxofrox, and it was really nice (not fancy, though, just plants). I came home with several plants and got good advice.
