I agree with TRS Designs, it looks great, but something is off with the slender cabinets flanking the range hood...mmmmm....

Sorry, I haven't checked in...the counters are milk glass, very durable, and the backsplash calcutta gold mosiac.. The slender cabinets....not ideal, however, sometimes with remodeling you gotta make lemonade! The finished product is a HUGE improvement not only aesthetically, but functionally as well! The slender cabinets are great for spices and cook books. Less space means less extraneous stuff. The range is an ICON by Electrolux. Dual fuel, self cleaning, best cubic footage for these 48" units on the market and much better priced than the others. Still expensive so best advice, don't pay for more appliance than you need! And do your homework!

I did not redo the floors. Although, they needed to be screened and re-polyed to freshen after work and a few spots needed to be patched and surgically finished where the opening was expanded and the cabinets made more shallow.. That was one of the parameters to keep the costs down. So, we had to keep existing footprint. T

The backsplash is gorgeous, I love the way is shines! The light reflecting off the tile really makes the space feel larger.

Thx. That calcutta gold was a must have! It is my favorite. Makes modern more timeless and traditional more contemporary. Can't go wrong.

Thank you so much! You should have seem the rest of the house. There are aspects to love about an 80's contemporary ...windows, light and interesting space...and then there are the things that must go! There was a LOT of must go!

It is milk glass...there are several suppliers. Just ask at your local stone yard or high end kitchen center.

actually the cabinets are kind of "griege" the color of dirty finger prints!
