I love hazelnuts. I planted a few seedlings from our department of conservation. I only planted one in our yard and the rest were along an old fence row. I'm not sure the ones in the fence row are still alive but the one in our yard had some nuts on it this year. I was a bit surprised how small they were after I shelled them out - about the size of a pea. Wish they were bigger but they tasted good.
