i think the frame colour is too blah with the window colour... Neither colour is able to shine... What about a deep charcoal or even black (hard to know with such a limited view) Love the windows and think they need to pop.

I would vote, like Alison, for a deep charcoal. If you can post a picture with more of the overall look of the house we can help more.

I LOVE IT! Whimsey, creative and decorative! Interesting, what are the walls?

In this setting I see this being fine (definitely keep the red no matter what). I just think the charcoal or black would bring out that wall color a bit more and heighten the lush green plantings around the house. This is a beautiful setting - is it in the US or in another country? I could see some nice big black / gray planters by the front door, too depending on if you go with that for the trim. Good luck!

@ bonmio, yes from the philippines.thank you for such complement..i was a bit worried when i painted the frame i thought of it not goes along well with the red windows.Is it just fine that i painted the frame with dark gray?

I really like these frames, but the red does not look convincing. I'd go for a dark color with a patina that gets the look of an old wrought iron.

I like it and think you can stick with it!! Would love to see more photos from further away to get a sense of your house in the space. Enjoy!

I would change the drapes for honeycomb shades.

LOVE THE RED!!!! I would not change the red at all, it looks beautiful and so charming!

Do all these pictures reflect a new colour from the first or are we seeing the first colour selection in shadow thus making them look darker? regardless I think the view with the darker colour (real or imagined) is great so if you have not painted them darker you really should!!! Thoughts of safety are with you in the typhoon.
